The Company

PC Basics was founded in 1989 by Henry Moss in North West London. It was established to meet a need in the market place – to provide low cost personal training for the growing number of computer users. Over the last 10 years it has grown in reputation in the north west of London and surrounding areas, and can now boast an ever growing customer base of more than 1,000, many of whom we visit on a regular basis. Our ethos is to provide great training tailored for the individual and ongoing support, to give us happy customers who go on to recommend us to their friends, family and colleagues.
Our training takes place in the comfort of the customers’ own surroundings, using their own equipment, removing the pressure and stress of training in a classroom environment.
Our business was originally established to provide one to one basic training, mainly for home users. It has since evolved, having established a much wider customer base, offering far more services.
Although basic training is the core of our business, we are now spending around half of our time offering technical support and additional services, such as setting up new systems, home and business networking, and remote access when a customer has a problem.
This technical support arm gives us regular ongoing contact with our customers, and provides a steady second income stream.
Therefore our marketplace is initially teaching people how to get the most out of their computers, but by offering ongoing support and services, we build strong, lasting relationships, which result in long term business, good referrals, recommendations, and income.
We have now identified a need for more trainers, and have decided that the time has come to offer others the opportunity to use our tried and tested training methods, to build their own computer training business.
The future of computer training and support is ever growing and the potential it offers is very exciting.
