The Market Place

Over the last 10 years, the number of homes in the UK which have at least one computer has risen significantly and is still growing, and the requirement for personal computer training and ongoing support is ever increasing.

This is partly due to the cost of the hardware, which has fallen in the last few years, so that you can buy a good new laptop or desktop PC from around £400. Computers are now far more accessible to more people.

This, together with the lowering cost of Broadband, has meant that the majority of computer users are now connected to the faster service, and therefore are using it more. Figures show that many hours are now spent at a computer for work, entertainment or social activities. This includes finding information, shopping, social networking and downloading music or movies, as well as online gaming.

As more people continue to use a computer as part of their everyday routine, both at home and at work, the requirement for our support becomes more and more important. Setting up new systems, transferring data and rescuing them promptly when they have a problem, become imperative.

As more people in the UK become regular computer users the need for training and support increases, and with it, the market place for our services.
